Garageband in the classroom - Hands-On Demo/Tutorial

Presented by Victor LaBozzetta, Apple Computer

As a follow-up to the conference presentation, this session allows you to sit in front of a Mac and explore the possibilities of GarageBand for yourself. Take a guided tour or just play. The demo is limited to 12 people per session (11:00 am and 1:00 pm), and pre-registration is required, but the lab will be open and available during all breaks and for a short time after the conference.

With GarageBand, you can easily and affordably bring the excitement of digital music into your classroom. Garageband is a fun and powerful tool that students can use to perform, record, and create original music, and even add it to their social studies, science, and language arts projects for a new dimension in learning.
