Classroom Management: Effective
Techniques for the Classroom and Performance Venues

This session addresses classroom management
issues that are specific to the unique nature of teaching
music. Useful strategies for effective organization,
communication, and assessment are discussed that position
teachers and students on the road to success.
Lori Hershenhart is the district-wide
Music Supervisor in the Guilderland Central School District.
Previously, she taught K-12 vocal and instrumental music in
both rural and suburban school districts. She holds degrees
in music from SUNY Fredonia and the College of St. Rose as
well as her Administrative Certification.
