The Principals' Center awards Principal of the Year annually since 1991 to recognize excellence in principalship in the Capital Region. The following is the list of past recipients.

 The Greater Capital Region Principals’ Center is now accepting nominations for the Annual Principal of the Year Award.  The deadline for receiving nomination forms and supporting documentation is Friday, February 26, 2010.
