Principals' Luncheon Series
The Greater Capital Region Principals’ Center was
established in 1985 to be a clearinghouse for those
organizations with common interests in promoting
school leadership capacity. Designed as “an oasis of
training for the improvement and renewal of
leadership skills and energies,” the Center provides
the opportunity through the Principal Luncheon
Series for principals to meet in a collegial
atmosphere and to share, in a supportive way, the
skills and practices that have proven successful in
the school setting.

This conference for potential administrators,
co-sponsored by CASDA and the Greater Capital Region
Principals' Center, will feature the important roles and
responsibilities of administrators in the schools. The
challenges and rewards of a career in educational
administration will be highlighted by a panel representing
the 2007 Principals of the Year. Participants will be able
to network, meet individually with consultants to hone
interviewing skills and have resumes critiqued, and gain
practical information from various sessions on how to
succeed in administrative positions.
