Betsey Schühle, Associate Director
Betsey (Morgan) Schühle is
returning to CASDA, this time as the Associate Director. For the past six
years she has been the sole administrator of the New York Lottery Leaders of
Tomorrow scholarship program working with over 170 colleges, 1,000 high
schools and 5,000 students. During the past year she acted as the Lottery’s
Director of Education Programs launching such sponsorships as EdVideo
Online, and continuing work on the Educator of the Week, Regents Review
Live, LOT and the Empire State Games programs.
Betsey completed her undergraduate work at Siena College and
has worked in college admissions as well as not-for-profit organizations. In
2002, she completed her master’s degree in school counseling at the
University at Albany. Betsey has been a member of the Capital District
Counseling Association Executive committee for past four years and also the
Center for Innovation and Career Development advisory board. Her experiences
and competencies have culminated in bringing her to CASDA. Betsey looks
forward to collaborating with the member school districts and capital region
agencies in improving student learning and performance.
