Join international presenter and Social Studies expert, Casey Jakubowski, as we explore the new AP US History (APUSH) materials just released by college board. In this session, we will explore the new changes to APUSH, and consider at how the new requirements can be viewed across the C3 standards lens. We will also work together to discuss changes necessary for classroom instruction, and how you can get ready for fall implementation. Finally, we will examine some resources which are available in open source and shared content formats for classroom use. This session is targeted to current AP US History teachers, teachers interested in AP US History, and partners in library and ELA who are interested in how to integrate AP US History into their content areas.

Learning Objectives

Participants will learn:

  • What updates have emerged from the new AP US History materials.

  • How to implement those changes in the classroom.

  • What resources will be required to make the changes.
