BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

In order to develop a learning-centered classroom and ensure that teaching and learning can take place, it is critical for teachers to be skilled in individual student management as well as overall classroom discipline techniques. CASDA’s faculty combines years of experience in classroom instruction with fluency in the latest educational research to help teachers create stable, functional and enriching classrooms for their pupils.

OUR APPROACH

CASDA’s Classroom Management consultations aim to foster greater understanding of the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and share strategies for dealing with them instructively. Faculty members offer training in:

  • Understanding and supporting mental health issues.

  • Recognizing students with emotional/behavioral disabilities.

  • Developing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans

  • Employing instructional approaches that successfully mitigate challenging behaviors.

  • Accessing public health and specialized resources to support student mental health.
