Our students are now expected to write with more complexity and insight than ever before. This workshop series will offer strategies and techniques to help students craft insightful claims, use evidence effectively, organize and develop ideas, and follow important conventions of writing. Strategies will be useful for in person instruction, but we will especially focus on translating them for effective virtual teaching. Participants will develop or modify actual lessons for use with their students. This series is appropriate for teachers of any subject area who want to improve their students’ writing.
