Competing interests often make the creation of the building schedule a challenging task. Learn how to place your students’ needs at the center of the process to balance priorities and reach school goals.
During this conference you will experience a process of schedule development that you may use with your own team, learn ways to use student data to inform scheduling decisions and consider a wide range of perspectives that impact student learning.
Participants will have the
Learn a team process approach to elementary schedule design.
Raise awareness of the purposes, considerations and priorities of scheduling.
Understand the ways in which the master schedule design promotes student learning and supports school and district goals.
Understand how to use student data to match staffing with instructional needs.
Identify change ideas for implementation in your school.
Bring a copy of your current building schedule and an electronic template for your 2018-19 school yar schedule.
