Every violent incident that makes headlines strikes an element of fear in school administrators.  They  must live with the reality that incidents and emergencies which demand immediate, clear and planned response can occur on any day at any moment. Experts tell us that we learn more about how to be better prepared with every new incident and that the definition is ever-changing. This workshop will use a combination of lecture/discussion, powerpoint, tabletop exercises, role play and emergency simulation to bring you up to date with what you need to know at this time and help you think through your plans and leave with specific ideas to operationalize.

Session 1 is for administrators who have had School Safety Incident Training and/or have experienced a significant school safety issue.

Session 2 will be for administrators who have not had School Safety Incident Training and/or have not experienced a significant school safety issue.
