Learning from Odds-Beating Schools: A Continuous Improvement Innovation for College and Career Readiness

Location: Albany Room, Capital Region BOCES
NYKids, CASDA and Capital Region BOCES will work in collaboration with your school team to achieve better outcomes and support Pre-K-12 College and Career Readiness in your school. Participant teams will:
Use NYKids research of odds-beating schools (those achieving success with diverse groups of students) to identify improvement priorities.
Use improvement tools to identify root causes for suboptimal outcomes.
Identify high-leverage change ideas to integrate into an action plan.
Identify measurements to monitor progress.
This school improvement innovation is appropriate for any school and supports required interventions for DCIP and SCEP planning for CSI and TSI Districts/Schools.
