This workshop series will explore immediately applicable strategies to support literacy development for emerging readers. Participants in this series will:
Gain research-based knowledge to support the specific instructional techniques highlighted.
Observe and participate in model lessons which demonstrate the concepts & strategies highlighted.
Be provided with materials, time and oversight to duplicate and customize the lessons for their own students.
Leave each session with a tailor-made lesson ready to use!
Session I will address: Supporting K-2 students with K-2 literacy skill levels.
Session II will address: Supporting 3rd-6th grade students with K-2 literacy skill levels.
Session III will address: Supporting 7th-12th grade students with K-4 literacy skill levels.

9:30 - 10:30: Participatory lesson Demonstration
10:30 - 11:30: Make it your own: Make and take the lesson home
11:30 - 12:00: Sharing and Wrap up
