Rural School Leaders Collective
A monthly, one hour meeting series that will allow leaders to problem solve with colleagues facing similar challenges in other districts.
Rural school leaders often wear enough hats to stock a haberdashery during a “normal” school year. The realities of Covid-19 and the accompanying loss of state aid has exacerbated existing challenges and introduced new obstacles. As district and building leaders work to develop new protocols and build the capacity of their faculties, they often do not have the opportunity to support their own professional growth. The Rural School Leaders Collective is a monthly, one hour meeting series that will allow leaders to problem solve with colleagues facing similar challenges in other districts. Participants will have the opportunity to submit topics through a Google From prior to the first meeting and agendas will reflect their specific needs and interests. We hope that this program creates a space to build community in a time where educators often feel isolated and overwhelmed by the demands of their job.
