The impact of COVID-19 on school systems is especially pronounced in special education. However, students with IEPs remain deserving of and legally entitled to a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment. The Special Education Directors Roundtable is a professional learning community that will create a space for educators to share challenges, solutions to common problems, and research-supported strategies to help them provide the best possible education for their students. CASDA facilitator Colleen Ulrich will share relevant insights and guide discussions to identify best practices for this unprecedented time.
