ELEMENTARY STEM
ROUNDTABLE

A New Vision for Building Elementary Teachers' STEM Skill and Instructional Leadership

Participants will share challenges and successful practices with one another and learn ways to engage
students as scientists and engineers. Our unique partnership with Capital Region science centers will allow educators the opportunity to learn how these resources enhance science instruction for both students and teachers. Participants will be supported as they create a vision and implement instruction that is consistent with NYS P-12 Science Learning Standards and A Framework for K-12 Science Education: Practices,
Crosscutting Concepts and Core Ideas.
