Students who have difficulty reading often struggle in other academic areas, leading to poor overall achievement, low-self-esteem and social-emotional and behavioral issues. Teachers need to problem-solve to develop approaches to support the strengths and needs of their diverse students.

Participants of this workshop will learn strategies, methods and activities to assist struggling students in the intermediate grades. Focus areas will include word learning, word solving, fluency and comprehension. Learn strategies you can implement right away with your students!
