Research shows that students who are not proficient readers by the end of 2nd grade, fail to catch up to their peers and perform below their peers academically in subsequent years. Helping students to become strong readers will help them achieve academically and will improve their future outcomes.

This workshop will focus on teaching students to learn to look at print, develop word and letter knowledge and use word-solving skills with increasingly more challenging texts. Learn hands-on activities you can implement right away with your students!
