With the rollout of the new NYS English Regents in June 2026, teachers need clarity, alignment, and time to prepare students effectively. This session provides both.

Participants will begin the day by closely analyzing released sample exams to identify structural changes, shifts in rigor, task expectations, and implications for instruction. In the afternoon, teachers will move into collaborative “sandbox” design time to align curriculum, share best practices, and create ready-to-use preparatory materials for use in May and June.

This session is designed to reduce uncertainty, strengthen instructional coherence, and ensure students are prepared without adding unnecessary test-prep fatigue.
